It's ...I'm not a big fan of tearing fabric. It's just gotten too expensive to beat it up that way. One of the quilt shops I like tears. They give you an extra inch to make up for it thou. Seems like it would make it harder to piece too. I know of shops t...CQ - that's a new one to me. I know of shops that tear the fabric instead of cutting it for you, but I've not torn the strips for a quilt that way. What a challenge that had to be for you to do your 'magic' on. I'm sure it looks wonderful.
